His Coat, and Why It Changes

Silver marble chinchilla means two things at once. Chinchilla describes the tipping: only the very tip of each hair carries colour, so the base stays pale and the coat looks lit from beneath. Marble describes the pattern: broad swirls rather than narrow tabby stripes.

As a result, he reads as bright silver in daylight and considerably darker under lamps. Ask for video rather than stills if the shade matters to you.
