We’ve made an important change to our Waiting List.

Previously, our free Waiting List was based on our planned/general breeding schedule, which meant families could sometimes wait longer for a kitten that matched their preferences.

To provide a better experience for our clients, we’ve decided to make our Waiting List paid. This allows us to plan special breeding pairings based on the preferences and needs of families on the list, so you won’t have to wait as long for a suitable kitten. ❤️

Joining the Waiting List now requires a $250 fee, which will be applied toward the purchase price of your kitten.

All registered Waiting List members will receive advance information about upcoming litters, including estimated birth dates (±1–2 weeks), expected colors, and breeds — British Shorthair, Scottish Fold, Scottish Straight, Munchkin, and Munchkin Fold.

❓ What happens if I don’t find a kitten I like?
Your $250 waiting list fee is non-refundable, but your place on the list remains active for future litters until a suitable kitten becomes available.

❓ How long is the waiting list valid?
Your place on the waiting list remains active until you purchase a kitten or the cattery permanently closes.

❓ Can I request specific traits for my kitten?
Yes, you may specify preferences such as sex, coat color, pattern, ear type, or coat length. Please note that preferences do not guarantee a specific kitten and may extend wait times.

❓ How will I be notified when a kitten is available?
We will contact you by email or phone when a kitten appears to be a good match. You will have 24 hours to decide whether to proceed with the purchase.

❓ What if I decline a kitten?
If you decline, the kitten will be offered to the next approved applicant. Your spot on the waiting list will remain active for future kittens.

❓ How are kittens offered?
Kittens are offered based on waiting list order, availability, and suitability, ensuring the best match for each kitten and family.

SELLER OBLIGATIONS

1. The Seller, Kitty Palace Cattery, provides limited health warranty that the above kitten/cat is in good health at the time of purchase. The Buyer is responsible to report any health changes after the kitten/cat’s pick up. Minor upper respiratory infections that occurred because of stress do not have to be reported. Any veterinarian or hospital expenses will not be covered/shared without prior approval by the Seller.
2. If the kitten described above dies within one year of the date of purchase due to a congenital or hereditary defect, the Seller will replace the cat with a cat/kitten of similar quality or refund all or part of the purchase price, at the discretion of the Seller. To determine if the cat’s death has been caused by a congenital or hereditary defect, the Seller must receive proof of the defect in the form of a complete necropsy report, completed by a licensed veterinarian and performed at the Buyer’s expense. In case of illness or death of the kitten, the Buyer must provide the Seller with photos and videos from home or veterinary hospital during the period of the illness or death to confirm that the kitten is indeed the one purchased from our cattery.
3. Kitty Palace Cattery does not extend this policy to cats diagnosed with feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), feline leukemia virus (FeLV), and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV).
4. The Seller will complete all of the age-appropriate vaccinations and worming. A copy of the kitten’s vaccination record will be given to the buyer at the time of purchase. If the Buyer chooses to inoculate for feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), the warranty is invalidated. Our kittens receive a health certificate before being placed in their new homes.
5. The Seller requires that the kitten is to be spayed or neutered by Buyer (Buyer Obligations #6).

BUYER OBLIGATIONS

1. The Buyer agrees to provide the cat with a clean, pleasant environment. At least one litter box will be provided for each cat in the household and will be cleaned daily.
2. The kitten/cat will not be caged unless absolutely necessary for the cat’s safety or health.
3. The Buyer will provide the cat with proper nutrition in the form of a premium food. Fresh water will be provided daily.
4. The Buyer will provide the cat with proper veterinarian care and vaccines, and companionship. Any significant health conditions during the cat’s lifetime will be reported to the Seller.
5. The Buyer agrees the kitten/cat will live indoors only and will not let the cat roam outdoors. Letting the kitten/cat roam outdoors is a violation of this contract.
6. All kittens purchased at Kitty Palace Cattery must be spayed no later than 12 months of age and not be allowed to produce any offspring.
7. The Buyer will not declaw the kitten/cat. De-clawing is a violation of this contract.
8. The Buyer will not, under any circumstances, give, sell, or lease the kitten/cat to any animal shelter, research facility, laboratory, pet store, or other commercial or noncommercial enterprise. In the event that the Buyer can no longer keep the kitten/cat, the Seller will be contacted immediately as first option to assist in the placement of the animal.
9. The Buyer must have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within seventy-two (72) hours after taking possession of the kitten. During this examination, the veterinarian shall establish an appropriate schedule for all future vaccinations, deworming, and any other routine preventive veterinary care. Any illness, disease, infection, parasite, or other health condition identified after the expiration of the seventy-two (72) hour examination period shall be considered the sole responsibility of the Buyer. The Seller shall not be liable for any claims, veterinary expenses, treatment costs, medications, or any other expenses arising from such conditions.

LONG-TERM HEALTH CARE AND/OR LEGAL PROCEEDINGS

1. The Seller is not liable for any expenses for veterinarian or otherwise, incurred by the Buyer throughout the kitten/cat’s life.
2. The Seller’s maximum liability to the Buyer for any and all losses, claims, damages, or liability of any kind shall be limited to the amount paid by the Buyer to the Seller under this agreement. Any expenses for health care requested of the Seller by the Buyer will be paid at the discretion of the Seller. If Buyer fails to comply with any aspect of this agreement, the Buyer forfeits any rights the Buyer may otherwise have.
3. If legal proceedings become necessary, the Buyer agrees that all legal and/or court procedures take place in the county which the Seller resides.
4. Any violation of the above written clauses will give the Seller the right to repossess the cat/kitten.

We require a NON-REFUNDABLE $400 reservation deposit per kitten from potential buyers. Venmo or Zelle.

In love with our Scottish fold kitty! He is just perfect 😍 we love him so much and would def go through kitty palace cattery again! Great customer service, takes great care of kitties before pickup and explains and answers questions. The owner Mila was very responsive and would send weekly videos of the kitty until he was ready for pickup. We couldn’t be more happy and satisfied with this place.
