Is He Actually Silver, or Grey?

Silver, and the distinction is real. On a chinchilla coat the hair shaft stays white and only the tip carries black pigment. Consequently, the coat looks bright rather than flat, and the pale roots show through whenever he moves.

He photographs paler than he looks in a dim room. If the exact shade matters to you, ask for video by a window.

Will He Be Difficult to Settle?

Unlikely. Max already uses his litter box and scratching post reliably, so nothing needs correcting on arrival. Because he has grown up with daily handling, being picked up and brushed is normal to him.

Give him a soft bed, a few safe toys and one quiet corner, then let him explore at his own speed. Most kittens like him take two or three days to claim the whole house.

Is He Clingy or Independent?

Somewhere in between, which suits most households. He plays in short bursts with small toys, then settles near whoever is around. He enjoys attention without demanding it, and he does not follow people into every room.

As a result, he works equally well for someone home all day and someone out at work.
